Chapter 1
All Aboard!
The big ship steamed infront of them,making a great impresion to the Southhampton area around her. Laura Femum, one of the 1st Class passengers, looked up at the RMS Titanic,the Royal Mail Steamer,and amired the way Thomas Andrews designed the magestic ship.He must have a very great taste Laura thought,brushing some dirt of her white gloves from touching the ground to the sea.
Mrs Femum,Laura's mom who was to meet Laura's father in New York,was talking to one of her older friend's.They planned not coming back till the end of the year.After a few minutes,the conversation started becoming silent.Mrs Femum started crying,dabbing away small tears as her friend told her soothing things.
Just then,a loud triumphant sound came from the top of the Titanic,telling the passengers to start loading. Laura looked at her mother with excitement,and a big smile on her face.It rushed down and up her body,as her anger started going away.
A few days ago,her friend Clarise got in a fight with her at their private school,MissInd Private Middle School.During math,Laura was in the middle of a test. Her mom came to get her so they called the school to tell them to get her to the office as fast as they can."Go Mrs Femum.Down to the office!And give me your paper to shred up."Mr Holsenburg said to Laura.She rushed out,but accidently knocked over a book on Clarises dest so it landed on Laura's hip.Apperently,the teacher saw it but not all."Mrs Taylor.Come now." Mr Holsenburg said very strernly.Ever since,the last thing they ever saw of each other was one scowling the other.
But then,Laura and her mother started there way to South Western Hotel,and then eating a fufilling meal.After that,they went back to their hotel room and each took a bath that had a beautiful scent to it.They dryed of with a white,fluffy towel then put on there nightgowns.Next thing they knew,they were asleep in the beautiful beds.
The next morning,they got up and Laura put on a pure white dress with a flower near the shoulder and one inch high heels with gloves on each hand. Mrs Femum did her hair neatly,in a high pony tail and a bow hair tie.
After a good meal in there dining area,they started out for the large place they had to wait for the Titanic.It was much better to get on first than last.As they came out of the hotel,there last look inside a hotel in Southampton as they strode out of the large bulding.The air was at least a mild warmth as they left.Laura saw gentlemen leading their wives around to see the Titanic,smaller kids playing with there siblings and toys,and dogs running around there owners or sitting enjoying the light or barking at oncoming strangers.
Laura however,decided to sit on a metal bench by the rail out to the sea.Many people crowded as the daylight shown more brighter after each half a hour.Mrs Femum meet her friend and so on.

The Titanic started to load passengers and Laura was very eager to get on this most amazing ship of voyage history.Mrs Femum took Lauras hand and headed for the metel steps they would be using to board.They started there way up the stairs,but it was awfuly to crowded.Children kept pushing,and very few moms kept sobing to there husbands that could not make the voyage.Most likely cause of there jobs that they have to attend.
"Mom,lets just get infront of them.Follow me!"Laura was very impatiant."No Laura!"Mrs Femum said very strictly."Be a young Lady!"Laura was very disapointed but nodded silently,slowing her pace to keep up with her mom.
Both them looked around,but soon they got to the final step above the water.The deck was crowded,but a cheering filled the area.Laura and Mrs Femum got to the deck and walked over to a line of people.There,all classes were handing in there tickets and Stewards came to lead them to there cabins.
A girl meet them at the front were they gave them the 1st Class tickets.Her name was Chelsia,and she greeted them with a warm smile."Welcome!So..."She looked at the tickets."You are ridding 1st Class!Nice,and I will get your Steward."Chelsia left with the smile still plastered across her face,and went to get a open steward behind her.The door creaked as she left,but came back out with a young man.
"Hello Mrs. I am Johnathan Spencer,your room Steward.Just call me Johnathan like most people do.Now I have to ask,would you ladies like your rooms seperate?"Laura did not want it like that,but her mom already jumped in on the answer."Yes please Sir."Mrs Femum started cluching her daughters hand then calmly letting it go.
Johnathan waited a few seconds then started talking again."As I said,it is not needed to call me Sir!And I will let you ladies have your wish.Two seperate rooms!"Johnathan smiled and jerked his head."This way Madam and,"He looked down at Laura and squating his legs a few inches so he was eye to eye with Laura."Young Lady."He came back up and escorted them down the Grand Staircase and down to B deck.
"So your ladies cabins are on this deck.You will be across from each other to."He smiled and then led Mrs Femum to her cabin.Laura waited patiantly outside her mothers door while Johnathan started following Mrs Femums commands of how she wanted the room.
After a few he came out to meet Laura."Now you.What is your name?"Laura started twisting her brown hair,making ringlets that did not stay."Me,oh umm,my name is Laura J Femum."She got a little to nervous,but could still keep it together.
Ships and Boats were things that floated on water by air.She has never been on one but was nervous AND excited.
"Well Miss Laura!Follow me."He smiled,and went to the door across from her mothers cabin.After he unlocked the door,and led Laura in."Are you fine with everything Miss?" "Yes I am,thankyou.I am not as much like my mother.Actually more like my Dad,that is why I am on this boat I mean,Ship.Never been on anything as grand as this!"Johnathan nodded and said bye,going back to Chelsia and getting more demanding passengers.
Laura setteled in her cabin and then sat down.Knock Knock.Wondering who it was,Laura went to answer.She turned the knob,and found her mother standing infront of the door."Honey,lets go to the deck.I want to wave a farewell to my friends who are below."Tears began to fill in Mrs Femums eyes as she stopped talking.
They walked back up and got on the deck.Laura waved behide the huge,pandinomium crowd but nobody could see her.Mrs Femum pushed her way grabbing her 15 year olds hand,but the crowd just pushed her and her Mother aside like they were 4 month old rotten garbage.
Mrs Femum steped back and stomped her foot in frustration,but the tip of her heal broke and she fell on her side.Leaning against it,she yelped from pain. What do I do!Oh, Laura though getting on her knees holding her Mothers hand as she looked around.A single tear rose from Lauras eye to her cheak and soon everything in her filled with sadness.
"Oh my,are you okay Miss?"A gentlemen asked with a worried face.Laura got back to her feet."My Mum is hurt!Do something!Do something!"He had a worried look in his eyes also."Okay Miss.I will get the doctor," and he left with no trace.
