I had a dream that my parents and I were kidnapped into the world behind the mist. We were walking deep into a forest. And like, my mother kept tripping over sticks in the ground. There were scarecrows everywhere. My mom was really scared. And it was getting dark. And quite suddenly, Mom screamed. She had her hand over her mouth, pointing at a tree. It said, I see you In white paint letters. Behind the tree was a scarecrow with paint brushes for arms. Then my dad screamed. He was snatched by a scarecrow, but he managed to wriggle free out of the scarecrow's grip. I found 2 rocks leaning together in a triangular shaped small space. We crawled in. The scarecrows did try to snatch us a little. My parents were the first to fall asleep And I was the last one to fall asleep.
The next morning, we woke up and the scarecrows were gone. We went to a dead woman's house. Her name was Cathy Webster. She gave us came gingerbread and tea. I screamed as I saw 2 sarecrows appeared at the window. A bony hand wrapped around my wrist. I screamed again. Mom and Dad gagged together. They each spit out a mouthful of rotten dust.
"Tell them to come in!" the ghost of Cathy Webster choked.
we ran out the door as fast as we could. Cathy wailed. And my mom and I crashed into each other, dry heaving.
"Come on!" yelled Dad. He was faster than either of us. We crossed a dangerous bridge. And we found a familiar-looking scarecrow . It was my grandpa. Dad started to cry. Mom found 2 more scarecrows. They were my great-aunts Alesia and Henri. Their mouths were 2 frightened red 0s. We went into a different house, this seemed to have been the 1st house anyone had ever built. My dad was looking for a lighter to light the stove. Dad was cold, I was cold, Mom had wet feet, and she was a bit cold. Dad found a lighter. I went upstairs to the 1st bedroom. I heard footsteps. And a very scary woman appeared. Her name was Beth Webster. There were scarecrows at the window. I burst past the ghost, heard her scream a long wail of despair as I can downstairs. The kitchen smelled of burning. I ran in, found myself coughing. I shook my parents by the shoulders. Dad stared up at me, red-eyed. He got to his feet, shaking his head, coughing. My mom was unconscious. I shoved my mom 's socks and sneakers, and my dad picked up my mother. I walked out the door going to the barn. Dad followed more slowly, carrying Mom. We can into the barn, and Mom, waking up, saw what was behind her and screamed. Dad dropped her.
"The leader's in the hayloft," said Mom, coughing. " I can see it! " Dad and I took grips on the doorknobs, and our hands were getting splinters all over them (I had a splinter on my butt once). We all climbed up the ladder one by one. We talked to the scarecrows for a bit until we fell asleep.
The next day, my parents and I got out of the barn, and we went to the doctor.
"I'm freezing," Mom coughed. We left the doctor and stopped at an ugly muddy forest.
" I'm really sick! " Mom coughed. My dad and I went to the forest without Mom. Dad disappeared. He was snatched by a very nasty monster-like scarecrow monster. I got snatched by one, too. I was crying in the monster's grip.
