So I was using my tablet last night, and I was under my blanket, and I pulled it off my head when I realized I was in total darkness. I started to freak out. I ran to my mother, who had her phone light on. It was so dark, I couldn't see anything except her phone light. My parents kept trying to get me to go back to my room, but it was still way too dark. My dad gave me his UV flashlight. It didn't look funky or scary. It looked like a glow party. I didn't want to go back to my room and go to bed, because I was afraid of the dark and that sleeping in total darkness would make my nightmares so much worse that, first thing in the morning, I would be crying a lot. I decided to read a book instead. It was called Sarah, plain and tall. It took me an hour and a half to finish the book. And the power has been out for 2 and a half hours. So I was extremely bored. So I went to bed with a string of UV lights. And I was in bed for a few minutes, and suddenly, the power came back on, and I started laughing because the power came back on. And I ended up smiling in my sleep.
