Why do y'all care about politics? Honestly, why? And don't give answers like "trump is bad", "I dunno", or "I just do". I'm honestly curious why y'all care. I mean yeah, it's good to be informed and know about stuff, but I can't go to KT and not see something about Trump or Biden right now. Besides, as I have said, y'all can't vote. The only ones here who can vote are Alumni and KidzSearch staff and I don't see a thing from them. So please, for those who have an opinion, please explain why you even care so that I may get the concept. I really don't understand it. As long as America remains capitalist, I couldn't care less about the election or anything to do with politics. I'd rather not waste time getting angry over a political argument I really can't do anything about. I'd rather draw or read a good book than anything else.

Talking about the election, not the poll.

I care because of the hateful things trump has done against my community and all my friends communities. I'll gladly show sources and specifics but only if somebody cares to know

I vote yes, yes, I care about politics.

The reason kids care so much about it is because they can make a big impact. Greta Thunberg, for example, has changed the mind of so many. Kids are interested in it, and it's something kids learn about in school. So, yes, I think it is fair for kids to be interested in politics and care about. And I don't think it matters that we are too young to vote. It just goes to show that kids could actually want to be politicians. So yes, kids should care about politics.

Fair (and polite) point. I guess i can see that. Personally, i would be fine and would want to learn about politics, but every single website and video and news station is biased for someone and is mostly opinions rather than facts, and even the facts are biased. I just can't decipher the media and i would really rather stay out of it.

yes, when people are biased it makes politics diffucult to comprehend since it's not all the facts. It's not right for news reporters to spread biased opinions, as that might not be the whole story

I care because our "leaders" make stupid decisions. They are the reason that inflation is so high and that murdering children is legal. It pays to be informed because we will be our country's next voters. We get to choose who makes the decisions and it changes everything.
