And, parts of Hellenism do go along with scientific theories, for example, the creation of the universe. In Hellenism, everything started with Chaos, just space and matter floating around, then order came about similar to the big bang theory, and Gaia, or earth, was formed, as well as other planets. From Gaia came Uranus, or the sky, which supports science in that earth was a rock at some point, which developed an atmosphere. And technically, with Hellenism, if it weren't for a mistake, Pandora and women would not have been created. And for the answer to "how can beings who make mistakes control the world"? HAVE YOU SEEN POLITICS XD. But there are different versions of different tales because it is a very old religion, however most tales remain similar.
