This needs to stop please. (religion)

Question

Ok. So, lately there has been a lot of religion topics going around. I just wanted to say, please be nice. Respect other people's religion. For example (you know who you are, I'm not mad at you, you're fine, I just wanted to address some things you said.) I made a post abt saying 'god loves you' on mental health posts doesn't always help. And look, somebody commented saying 'be grateful that jesus died on the cross for train wrecks like you.' this wasn't the only thing that was said, but please be nice. Don't say 'I'll pray for you' or, 'I'm sorry for your sad life' just no. Just because somebody isn't Christian or Catholic, doesn't mean they have a sad life. Please don't force your opinions down ppls throats. Now, atheists, please be careful when talking bad abt religion. Some people actually take it to heart. I, myself, believe in the universe, and wherever is takes me has a purpose. thx for reading ily y'all!

im christian but not being christian does not mean you have a sad life  i know that and train wreck thing is bullying. but saing we will pray ffor you is our way of saying we care fo you its like saying i hope you have a good day or somthing like that so pls dont judge us on that

Saying we will pray for you is not pushing religion  at least not to me  it is. Saying I,ok pray for you is simply showing we care . Even if your not religious . ( boy I,n terrible at explaining things). Why are people  offended by Christians basically saying they care!

Agreed. I mentioned that no one really has said much against my religion, Hellenism, and someone made a post about Hellenism being stupid lol. Cant say i didnt kinda ask for that lol. I dont really care much, some people believe in it, some dont, i dont care. Most of the people on here (accordig to Hellenism) would just go to the fields of Asphodel* anyway, so whatever lol.

 

Fields of Asphodel- You didnt accomplish fantastic things, but you didnt turn into a serial killer. You are neutral.
