I don't believe in your God, I don't believe that everyone should be straight and cis. I believe in a different religion and therefore the argument of whether God made two genders to go with each other is inapplicable to me and several other LGBTQ members in the world who have become atheists and follow other religions because they don't feel accepted when people say that what they are is against God. That said, I have no problem with Christianity, I don't, It's fine if you want to believe in it, we're all human, we (in most countries) have freedom of religion so that we can somewhat get along. So my problem here isn't your religion, just getting that across, but you can't just tell those who don't believe in God that God says they should be straight and cis, it just doesn't work well for your argument.
Secondly, some people are LGBTQ. You won't change them, they won't change for you. It's not a choice. It's a feeling, the same way a straight person is attracted to the opposite gender, gay people are attracted to the same one. I won't throw words like homophobic around because they are overused. But honestly, what problem do you have with random other people you've never met who happen to kiss the same gender as themselves? There is no problem with talking about LGBTQ that couldn't be applied the same to straight a cis conversations of otherwise the same context. I'll agree that this world is bad, but not because boys are kissing boys and girls are kissing girls.
Thirdly, I understand that part of your religion would be unsupportive of homosexuality. Given I know very little about Christianity other than common things, be a little lenient with me here for this third portion. Now from what I understand, the bible would tell you to reject the homosexuality portion, but still, be accepting of the person. So accepting where you would still treat them indifferently, but unsupportive, to where you don't condone the "sin" of homosexuality. That's just what I understand of it, and basically how other Christians on this website have responded to LGBTQ. That said, you are your own person, you can do whatever. The only reason I'm taking my time to respond to this is that I tend to take it personally. A while ago, there was practically nothing as far as LGBTQ went, no category or anything. Then I was the first person to come out of the closet. You can still find that post, it's titled something like "My Secret..." That was very hard for me and I didn't know if I would keep or lose my friends on here if they would support me or accept me. That was terrifying, but I was met with a bunch of people who supported me. Since then, I've asked KidzSearch to put in an LGBTQ section on here for those who felt the same fear, so that they could feel welcome. Since then, plenty of users have come out of the closet on here, and they've felt comfortable being here and they haven't felt like they have to close off their words and their emotions just because of who they love. And that's such a small percentage of who they are, but sometimes it can seem like that small percentage can be what they are judged on first. I want you to take one moment and consider if someone said the following to you and other Christians-
"Okay, so I know that some of you believe that there's a God and Jesus and all of that, but you need to stop. It's not right, and (blah blah blah religion) is the only true religion. Honestly, you're just confusing little kids by making them believe that Christianity is okay, but like, it's not. So you all need to not talk about this because this world is bad enough without Christians. If you want to talk about it, talk about it somewhere else, this isn't the place. I'm honestly tired of seeing this when I just want to ask a question."
Now, depending on what type of person you are, this either 1, hurt you or offended you, in which case, how do you think LGBTQ people feel when other's talk like how you are (even as somewhat subtle as you put it). Or, you just figured that the person who said that would be at fault and it's an insane comparison from LGBTQ to religion, but a division is a division, no one should be judged for any of them, any of them. Or 3, you're quite frankly bored at what I'm saying, in which case I have no further reason to talk to you. But, considering you're most likely one of the first two, I shall continue a little further-
Generally and recently, I don't usually say anything that divides me from others. I don't say my race, my religion, my sexuality, my gender, or any of that because I see everyone as human no matter what labels they have taped on their forehead. I couldn't care less if you are a different label than I am, I care more about your actions. As MLK put it, the contents of one's character. That's what I judge people by. That's what I judge my friends by, and random people I'm talking to online for the first time, like you. I will only know you a judge you by how you act and treat others, not your religion, not your sexuality. The only thing I ask is that you can do the same.
