very anxious

I'm unbelievably anxious about middle school I finally got adjusted to 5th grade after having to go to a new school for the first time. I found a nonbinary person like me that I'm best friends with and now cuz of covid I barely saw them and schools over in a month...... I think it also is partly watching dear evan hansen and realizing that's as good as future schools will probably be. my district is installing gender neutral bathrooms tho so that's something to look forward to.

Middle school is nothing to be overly worried about. The homework will be a bit more difficult, and you'll have to figure out your classes, but as long as you try to keep up on homework (I advise maybe keeping a planner), that shouldn't be a major worry. You'll see your friend again, try to find a way to keep in contact with them over the summer (phone, email, something like that).

I'll try my best to stay in contact the reason I'm worried is cuz since theyre closeted they have a bunch of different emails and stuff so it gets confusing. Its just cuz their the only person I know that actually understands my love for the musical dear evan hansen or how it is being lgbtq+ and the thought of losing that tiny bit of familiarity is what scares me. you are right tho we can find a contact way.
