It was like a "noir" play, like those typical "private eye" plays! Like, yk, the detective who talks out of the side of his mouth and wears a trech coat, and the plot/ crime is typically pretty goofy.
Anyways, the play was about a mysterious murder in a coffee shop, with the owners dying to know who the killer was. A man had suddenly collapsed without any explanation, but it certainly wasn't natural. The case was let cold by the police, so they hired a detective to figure out whodunnit. They eventually did, as it was an employee pretending to be the owner's sister, who killed the man (and another customer) with poison in their "Death by Chocolate" drink.
Anyways, it went well, and it was a great experience getting to act and having a big role :)
