I got a 2 on report card (Elementary)

Question

I got a 2 on reading maps and geography on my report card! I've never gotten a 2 before, always either 3's or 4's, mostly 4's. I know that Elementary grades don't matter when you get older, but it is still sad for me.

They matter and they don't. I'm not sure how your grading system works, apparently numbers and not letters, but all that they're doing is showing how well you understand the material. Then again, like has already been established, they won't show up on your record for High School and beyond. Me? I'm already ruined as a Sophomore.

That's why I said I'm ruined. But let's face it: how many of these old ranchers are going to care how well I can formulas that take up and entire page? All that they care about is if you know how to ride without falling off and if you can shoot good.

Because it shows your effort and how much you try at something more than anything else. That's what colleges want to know, that's what jobs want to know.

I don't know how bad a 2 is or how good a 3 or a 4 is.,but of sad for you its sad for me .

Thank you, I know, it's just that I'm Korean, and Asian moms are all about good grades, my mom got quite mad when I got a 2.
