theres this guy i've known for awhile, and we're very good friends. but now i'm starting the think that there might be something more between us. i am pretty sure i like him, but how will i know if he likes me?!?!?!? i mean, its not like anything we do is romantic or anything! how do i do this without making it weird?

Tell him you have a crush then see if he has a crush if he does  . then  start finding out more like is there a  common letter in your name like a A or a E and work your way from there
