Period Questions...

Warning, this is a bit personal and may be gross to some, its about puberty and periods.

So I've heard from a few people that when you start getting hair in your underarms and...private parts... it means your period is coming soon, but I've had hair in those places for at least a year and I haven't had my period yet. I've also heard that discharge is a sign, and I've seen subtle signs of discharge for about 5 months but I haven't gotten my period yet. I also have cramps and things like that. All my friends, even those who are months younger than me, have gotten their period so far, and I haven't.  

I've been researching it and panicking because I have most of the signs of your period, and I am terrified of getting it in school or public places. I am also around the average age of periods.

I need some advice and, if you guys are comfortable with it, your period stories and some of the signs you experienced. Thanks, I appreciate it.

Getting hair in your… stuff doesn’t mean your thing will come tomorrow.

I think you can get discharge for up to 6 months before your thing.

Make sure to pack some pads in your pocket or backpack at school and public places so you’re ready for it.

Everyone’s different. Some people get their thing later than most people.

By the way, how old are you? Because if you’re 16 and you still haven’t had your first thing, you need to talk to your doctor.

ok so I haven't had it yet but I know if u have hair in weird places, have breasts your going to have it soon. If u have mood swings like getting mad at something silly your soon soon like next week( my mom feels sad bout silly things when she has her periods. If u have your period at school u should ( if they don't have a pad or tampon) put some TP in your underwear( I say bout 10 pieces so it don't leak) then when u get home ask your mom to soak your underwear or any thing that got on it in cold water. Hope that helps
