Spotting/period?

so yesterday i saw bright red spots of blood when i wiped and my stomach had been hurting too this morning there was some small light pink dot too. Is this my first period starting should i wear a pad?

Yuperdoodles! That is your period! If it is that light you might just need to wear an extra light pad or even just a panty liner. Just ask your mom, and dont be nervous because it is completely normal! If you would like, for the cramps, you could just put something warm near the spot it hurts (like a heated up water bottle or something like that), or you could take some pain meds (but be sure to ask your mom or dad before taking the meds).

It does sound like your first period. Congrats girl, you are becoming a woman. Have your mom get you some pads. I don't advise tampons for your first period but do whatever floats your boat.

Likely, due to your stomach pains/ cramps. However, the first few periods are usually very light :)

Yes this is definitely your first period.

If you don't have anyone to tell just grab a pad. I don't recommend tampons yet because a first period is a little young.

Is there blood on your sheets or just those spots? When I got my first period there was blood on my underwear. But like, a lot. So yes, this would be your first period.

It was only a small amount when i wiped and on my undies. I have still been getting cramps but no more blood so i think its spotting

Well. I would say that usually a girld first period could just have minimal blood and a lot of cramps. Its different for every girl though. Have you told an adult yet?
