I have been having trouble getting my family to realize I really want to publish my stories. They think its a joke...please help

Dear GemHeart,

If you really want to publish your stories, I suggest to talk someone who will care. Like maybe your teacher, or maybe if your friend's parent is an author or something.

     Are you hurt by your family thinking it's a joke? If you are, then tell them! A family is there to support and help each other. Tell your dad or mom that what that said was hurtful and that you really hoped to become an author. They will probably listen!

Thanks! Their stuff doesn't really really bother me, but when I try to read my story then they sometimes say "OK. That's good." And that's all... My brother is the worst! He is a coauthor, but he's so uninterested! I tell him that I have to read in a lot becuz that's revising. 

I've been writing it for 2 years, revising for 1 year.

Please help me tell my bro (let's call him CO [captain obvious]) that I have to read it to him. Even tho its a lot.
