If you get Best Answer you get 300 points. That's how I've given Elo so many thousands of points. She has so many best answers from me. But you've just got to be patient. I mean, I've been here 2 and a half years and just the other day got my "50,000 points club" badge. Elo's been here the same amount of time and recently made it to over 400,000 points. The more active you are, the faster you'll rack 'em up.
