"Honey! Wake up time for school!" My mom yelled, room to room. My head was in a daze, trying to go back to that WAY cool dream I was in. Maybe just one more minute- "Catherine Marina Jones! Get out of bed!" My mom said again. I slipped on some jean shorts and my cute Greetings Kitty shirt. I quickly stuffed all the things that I needed into my backpack, slid it on, and sprinted into the kitchen faster than I would with my mom holding the belt. "Look who's actually out of her room! Cathy Jones!" My annoying little brother Aaron joked. "Jonsey, go get some toast! It's your favorite, covered in strawberry jam!" My mom tempted me. She knows I love jam. I took a piece, said goodbye, and ran straight through the door. Before I could even get to the bus stop, I noticed my shirt was backwards. "Nice shirt." A mysterious girl remarked. "Oh, back off." I retorted. " Jeez, I meant it like, genuinely!" She said with a bit of a hurt voice. " Oh, sorry!" I said back. "My name is Cathy, I barely made it out the door when I realized my shirt was backwards." I explained. "Oh, my name Is Liz." She said. Before we could finish our, fairly smooth conversation, the bus stopped before our eyes. "Here comes the ride of doom." Liz remarked. I giggled. When we got on, I'll tell you, I had no idea what we were about to get into.
