Silently, stealthily, I climbed through the small barely squeezable hole and smiled. Step 1: Done.
Beep Beep Beep. My smart-watch clicked on.
"Are you in?" Mr.Specucci frowned.
"Yes!" I nodded, "How's the security cameras?"
"Knocked out and ready. Be careful."
"Ok. Over and Out."
I hopped into the air vents and slithered through until I heard voices.
"When will the energy cannon be ready?" A rough voice screamed.
"S-soon-nn!" Someone whispered, "But, I can't be sure when Pete can be done with it!"
"Well then be sure!" The man pounded his fist on the desk.
"I'll get back to you t-tomorrow!!!"
"Hhmmph. That's swell"
"O-ok!"
I was recording this conversation eagerly on my smart-phone.
"See you tomorrow, M-mr. Auxier!"
Yes!
I did a silent cheer. Now that we know the name, we can find out who this guy was.
I waited 10 minutes, until I crept through the vents out into the open.
I slowly opened the door, and was almost to the spy-mobile until I hear an alarm sound behind me.
"Oh no." I whispered, shaking my head.
I ran on the tips of my feet and got there just in time to shrink the car. Secret agent stuff. I sped off and back to the agency office. Afterwards? A nice cup of Hot Cocoa.
