Today in Spanish we had a test. Fine. Whatever. I am pretty good at Spanish.
However, my seat mate/friend was struggling.
A little background info about me and my friend. He is the only friend I made at my school and was nice to me and talked to me when everyone else hated me and made fun of me. He subconsciously helped me get rid of the notion I am an un likable idiot and no one besides my bff and mom could like me.
Now back to the test.
I was wizzing through the questions, and quickly finished the first side and back. But when I was about to turn it in I saw my friend “Sawyer” sitting there breathing hard. Really hard. He had just started the backside and was stuck on question 1 on the backside. I whispered the answer to him.
And I continued whispering the answers to him for the rest of the questions.
(Also my Spanish teacher is the worst and she is really old and not good at hearing so she couldn’t hear us)
So basically I helped him cheat/let him copy off me.
But I don’t regret it.
For all the reasons I listed above, I am glad I was able to return the favor and help him back.
Because of this, I do not regret helping him. And if he ever needs to again, I will help him. Anytime.
I helped someone cheat on a test today and if I could go back in time I wouldn’t have done anything different.
