I wore my Bunad to my overly Hispanic (Im Hispanic) private school

I got dresscoded because appearently Bunads are racist

I think the reason you got dress coded was because bunads are a traditional Norwegian thing. If a Norwegian person felt offended and that you were making fun of your heritage that's probably why you got dress coded. Even if you were not.

It's kind of like how a lot of black people say other races can't wear box braids.

Nobody at my school is Norwegian/Norwegian-American, except my math teacher (he liked my Bunad)

Also, I didnt want to offend anybody. Bunads aren't just for Norwegians. As long as someone likes Norway, they can wear a Bunad.
