Pain has no end, but it does have a light.
I heard light humming.
“Are you there?” I heard. It was everywhere. I was in my room and everything seemed dizzy. Everything moved, it wouldn’t stop moving. I felt dead, I felt DEAD. “Tom,” I heard the end of the humming, for a feminine voice spoke out from nowhere.
“I see your pain,” she whispered. Her whispered echoed around the room.
“What pain?” I questioned the voice, being able to speak. My voice echoed too, but It felt like mine, that was the only difference.
“It moves around you, your pain is the only function in you…” The voice chuckled a little, leaving chills down my spine. I then saw flashes of red lights, and yelling.
“TAKE HER!” I heard a masculine voice yell. Men went right through my body, it was like a flashback. There were bombs exploding, I saw men fly from the shaking ground. Some were dead, others were injured. Most of them were running. It was night time and it looked lie, from their muggle weapons, like guns, they were muggle.
I then saw a lady with a wand with scars yell a spell. She seemed in distress. She had then hopped on a carriage that had horses running like lightning. The men that she hit all perished, there skin turn so pale it was grey. It was haunting to see their lifeless faces.
“You see? You could stop this all…all of it…leave them! Leave…” her voice became raspier.
“NO!” I yelled, bolting up from my bed.
I woke up in sweat from my haunting dream. Right beside my bed was Lucas, concerned. “Are you sick?” he asked, putting his cold hand on my forehead. “No!” I quickly slapped his hand away. I seemed- well, felt different.
I seemed alarmed by all this, unable to stay in one place.
Willow then entered the room with concern too. “Tom?!” her face with pure rage sprung up from her pasty face. “Why did you do that?!” she was right beside me now.
“Do what?” I calmly said, confused and tired.
“Slap Lucas!” she said, while Lucas rolled his eyes.
“I’m sure he’s sorry,” Lucas walked out of our room with tiredness in his face. He looked unhappy, he looked depressed, he looked tired. Willow’s face was bright and happy, but there was something sad inside of her that I couldn’t tell what it was.
“I’m sorry Tom, I better just go,” she quietly said, leaving the room.
That left me alone, where I continued to lay in my bed, thinking of my concerning dream. I thought of the bright lights that could blind someone…I thought of the whispers…the humming…the men…the woman…the blood…
“TOM! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” I heard yelling from most likely the other part of the house. I sighed and had gotten up from my bed. I grunted.
“TOM!” Hazyl, who was most likely calling, hollered again.
“I’m coming!” I yelled back. I then had gotten dressed, I took out my wand and put on a smile. I was still thinking of Asia, I’m going to have to go to her funeral…I’ve only been to two funerals, one of a family member and Ace’s. Now, this’ll be the third, and that’s not a medal to wear proudly.
I then walked out of me and Lucas’s room with a tired expression.
Hazyl headed towards me. “Alright, Handison…” I didn’t pay attention to a thing she said, the rest of it was just a jumble of words that were whispered.
Once Hazyl was done, she had said, “Okay, so what idea do you like best?” I glanced at her. “What?” I said in utter confusion. “Ugh! I’m not going to repeat it! Ask Willow to do that!” she yelled.
“Whatever…” I mumbled.
Hazyl put her hair behind her ear, then walking away in annoyance at me not paying attention. Lucas then walked to me once Hazyl walked away. He walked with a “fake smile.” I mean, of course, who would be happy for there lover to be DEAD. DEAD. I repeated that in my mind with sadness.
Willow then followed Lucas over to me, so all three of us were together near the door. “Do you want anything to eat?” she asked. “No,” I rudely said. She didn’t say anything back, she just walked away.
Lucas put his head down.
“What do you want?” I asked with aggression.
“Nothing…” he walked away too, and I was left in the empty hallways. I then walked back in my room to study.
