My POV on Religion

Question

i have been bought up by atheists and I am kind of atheist but here is my point of view on religion. I don’t believe in a certain religion but I believe that there is Something or Someone out there. As being bought up in a non-religious household, i find it hard to believe in a God. I believe in science and evolution so I find it hard to believe many things in the Bible and other holy scriptures. But I envy Religious people. Yup, I’m a bit jealous of them. Why? Well it sounds pretty awesome to know that if you fall, someone will catch you, that someone will listen, and be so certain of life after death. I am always plagued with questions like: is this it? What happens next? I feel that when you die there is nothing. No Heaven. No Reincarnation. No never ending void of blackness. Just nothing. This is very hard to believe and pretty depressing. I wish I was religious. There you go. My POV.

     Sometimes it's hard to believe in God. Even if you are a scholar and you have researched Christianity your whole life, there is no way to for sure know. But the evidence is overwhelming. I've been reading a book called "The Case For Christ" lately. It's about an atheist who works for the Chicago Tribune, a popular newspaper. He rejected God until his wife suddenly  became a Christian. He couldn't convince her that God wasn't real, so he decided to prove he wasn't real. He went all over the US and for every question of his, there was an answer. In the end, he made astounding proof that God is real. In the end, he converted and became a Christian. Now, you have an atheist, who believes that God isn't real. It would take a lot to make him convert right? Just read The Case For Christ and make your decision after you've researched it. This is the most important decision in your life, because if God is real, eternity becomes VERY important.

Just because you were brought up by atheists doesn't mean you have to be one. You can be a Christian if you'd like. If you have any questions you can always ask me.

you can always try tobe religiose! all you need to do is pray and study tha bible occasinaly. You can always change just like the lamb in the story of the good shepard.
