Is the sun expanding or shrinking

Accdoring to my  theory, the sun is shrinking  like when a light bulb runs out of energy. Everything runs out of energy. A light bulb does not get energy it loses energy.

It will expand before it burns out.

well, everyone saying in a lot of years from now, there's going to be no sun so I guess it's shrinking

I agree that it shrinks about 5 feet every year.
