Are Kidztalk accounts separate from accounts for the articles area? [poll]

I have a Kidztalk account, but it seems not to let me log in when I try to use the same account for the articles/news/story area (not the other Kidztalk) of the Kidzsearch site. Are all the accounts seperate for the different categories of everything on Kidzsearch?

They all require new account signups and parental permission, but you can have the same email address.
