- Don't dig straight down (right under you)
- Don't look an enderman in the eyes
- Don't fall in lava and lose all your items (pretty obvious)
- Name your worlds
- Don't go straight to normal survival or harder (hard/hardcore)
- Don't use a tool on something it isn't made for. (ie pickaxe to chop wood) (To prevent this do adventure mode)
- Don't mine anything with the wrong pickaxe (I once accidentally mined diamond with stone pick instead of iron pick)
- NEVER USE GOLD TOOLS (extremely weak but highly enchantable)
- Gather wool and wood the first day
- Don't mine at night (*don't mine at night starts to play)
- Don't go right to hard/hardcore.\/normal survival when a big udate comes out
- Run from creepers
- Get to know the sounds of the night (I can identify any minecraft mob sound (I may get villagers and witches confused))
- Don't mine gold in the nether if there are piglins around
- Bring beds to the end (They explode so be careful)
- Don't leave your chest out in the open in your house if on a public server
- Don't attack the iron golems sometimes spawned in your village
- Find a village to set up.
- When you get more advanced you'll need to carry more stuff so use shulke boxes instead of chests.
- Don't go into a village with the bad omen status effect (unless you have to or want to start a raid)
- Get your items ASAP when you die (Unless you died in lava and you had no netherite items (netherite is the only thing that doesn't burn in lava))
- put berry bush traps around your house. (you'll get damaged a bit but so will everything else.
- Don't attack piglins
- deflect ghast fireballs with tools. Ghasts take damage from their own weapon
- Fish in a ghast and attack with a sword
- Don't use a bed in the nether or the end *(unless you're trying to defeat something)
- Don't go to the end unprepaed bc once you enter the only ways out are death or killing the dragon.
- When you make it to the end for the first time go without anything in your inventory and let the dragon kill you so you know what you havw to fight.
- Keep track of where your house is as well as your nether portal (turn on show coordinates)
- Use show coordinates to tell you where you are.
- Keep gold on you at all times in the nether
- If you do look an enderman in the eyes go into the nearest water source and attack from.there
