Puberty (BOYS YOU MIGHT WANT TO STAY OUT OF THIS)

Question

Hi guys!

ok.... so i am sooo worried about getting my period. Someone i know had it happen in school and had a panic attack.I am also worried that my brother will go a talk about it.How should i keep it hidden from my brother.BTW i share a bathroom with him.I am also creeped out about seeing the blood and does it pain?

PLZ help and give me any advice about the periods.

Just ask youyr brother to not tell anyone. Also, it doesn't hurt

Hi friend! I'm a boy but hope i could at least help u with a few words. Simply if ur bro is older than 13/14 then he definitely knows that it happens to girls. sometimes he may question u "is that going on", but he won't ask more. That's sure. If he is younger ,then he may not notice ur change much but he notices something just simply tell him (i actually dunno how to tell) as @imnayeon said. You know as a brother of 3 sisters I'm totally familiar with this and I know its normal. when my eldest sis had approached it I asked what has happened but next time when it was turn of next sis I simply understood (we were taught in school,isn't it) and did not want to embarrase her. Just take it easy sis. You do not want to hide it from ur bro,one day he will know! Good luck

It's not as scary as it seems! Usually the first time it might not hurt at all and there will be little blood! How old is your brother btw? If he's about 13 or older, he most likely already knows about periods and how every girl gets them so you shouldn't feel like you have to hide it! If he's a younger kid then you don't have to say anything, but if he notices something gently explain it to him.

Getting your period does hurt a little but usually only for a day or two and then it goes away! At least that's how it is for me!
