I think you should tell your mom. Explain to her calmly that it was an accident and if she gets mad or worked up come back to it when she is calmed down.

P.S. Just make sure you don’t read anymore of the book though. + Don’t feel guilty, it was an accident accidents happen. And maybe next time ask the store clerk, librarian, or teacher about the book to make sure it’s age appropriate.emoticon-00100-smile

Yeah. Tell her now so that you get into lesser trouble. AND TELL HER THAT IT WAS AN ACCIDENT!

YES!! You feel bad and it was an honest mistake, so I'm sure she will take it well! Just make sure to explain everything, and DON'T finish the book!!

Also, if you didn't tell her, think about how much worse it will be if she finds it/ out without you telling her. Kinda suspicious, right??

But don't sweat it! You've got this, and your mom will 100% appreciate your honesty! :D
