My mom always expects me to be perfect. "Got a B on you're test? You didn't study enough. *Compares to my older sister when she was a child or other people* You can do it too if they could"

I want to do things but for myself but I find it hard to. Any advice?

Ok for 1 thing nobody is perfect ok. Second B is a really good grade. I think you just need to talk to her about it.

My parents don't care about my grades as long as I'm actually trying. You have to show to them you're putting your schoolwork over your friends. I know that's hard, but its kinda the only way to not get scolded at for grades. You have study instead of sleeping over at your friends house or going to the mall after school (lol I couldn't think of anything else) you have to show them you care what grade you get and that you're actually giving the very best. Then they won't care if its a D- or A+.

This plan is not guaranteed to work on all parents. Restrictions apply.

Lol. Hope this helps!

Okay, your mom is wrong. The B grade is a really good grade.

Just work the hardest you can, even if it’s not straight A’s.

And also, be determined. That is how you become successful.
