Today I will be going over How to Prove A Fire-Arm. Proving a gun is just a one more safety measure to help prevent injury.
Step 1: Point muzzle in a safe direction. This means pointing the gun towards an area were there are no People, Houses, Animals, and Cars.
Step 2: Remove all ammo. This means removing all the ammo out of the chamber, and the magazine.
Step 3: Observe the chamber. This means looking into the chamber for any ammo that you missed while doing step 3.
Step 4: Varify the chamber. This means sticking your pinkie in the chamber to feel for any ammo. Dont worry, this is safe to do. I wouldn't be adding this if it wasn't safe.
Step 5: Examine the gun. This means looking all over the gun for any problems, and looking for Dirt, Oil, Etc. But what ever you do DONT LOOK DOWN THE BARREL OF THE GUN!!!!!!!
Safety tips: Prove your gun before using, handing it off to another person, and before you put it away. Make sure you use the right ammo for the right gun (every gun has a little stamp just above the chamber on the barrel that will tell you the gun's info and what ammo you can use. If you dont use the proper ammo this could cause serious injury.). Always, always FOLLOW THE 4 MAIN RULES OF FIRE-ARM SAFETY!!!!!.
I hope this helped.
