Hi people! It's me, Writingnerd, and today we have our guest, Transgender, or Trans.
Hiiii!
Do you want to get right into it?
Sure!
The transgender flag is pink, blue, and white, with two blue stripes at the top and bottom, a white one in the middle, and two pink stripes surrounding the white one.
Despite what online quizzes say, transgender is not a gender on its own but more of an adjective. For instance, a trans or transgender person would use the term trans or transgender to describe that they are trans. The opposite of trans is cisgender, or cis (when your gender is the same as your AGAB.)
The definition of trans is having a gender that isn't the one that was assigned to you at birth.
Some vocabulary for you is: FTM (female to male), MTF (male to female), AGAB (assigned gender at birth), AFAB (assigned female at birth), and AMAB (assigned male at birth). These are some basic ones to know.
Alright, thank you so much!
Bye!
