Why do people ask other people for ideas for their stories...

What's the point in writing "your" book if your getting ideas and characters from someone else... it's useless

YOU ARE ASKING A GOOD QUESTION I AGREE WITH YOU THERE IS NO USE BUT IT IS A KIND OF CONFUSION 

IF YOU ARE A GRET POET WITHIN 2 DAYS YOU HAVE TO GIVE A POEM TO THE EMPEROR WHO IS SO TERRIBLE  . YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO MAKE HIM HAPPY ,IN THAT CASE, IF YOU ARE NEW TO THE KINGDOM YOU WANT TO COLLECT INFORMATION FROM THE PEOPLE OF THAT KINGDOM .

LIKE THAT YOU ARE ASKING IDEAS FROM OTHERS FOR A STORY 

AND IN THE CONTENT IF YOU YOU ADD YOUR FRIENDS NAME WHO GAVE YOU IDEAS IT WILL REPRESENT THE TEAM WORK
