Why do cats and dogs hate each other?

Cat and dogs don't technically 'hate each other' or they aren't enemies. I suppose they don' have anything to do like we are when we're bored so they aren't really best friends, either. So it's like being friends with somebody but not besties or do everything together. Just regular, casual animals with nothing to do.

Dogs and cats don't technically HATE each other they just aren't used being around them maybe. And, BTW there are Alot of story's about cats nursing a lost puppy. Puppy's can die if they don't have milk. Even though its not from the mother it still helps.

Cats wag their tails to express anger. Dogs wag their tails to express happiness. So, when a cat sees a dog wag it's tail, it thinks the dog is angry But the dog is happy. So the dog is chasing the cat to befriend it and the cat is running away from the dog because it thinks the dog does not like it..

I don't think they "hate" each other. They just want the humans attention and can sometimes be jealous of each other.
