Question

I got psychology tricks for you guys today.

1. If someone insults you, pause for a moment and say “Are you okay?”.

2. If you think someone is lying, look at their eyes and don’t say anything.

3. Keep your voice calm and an argument. It will give them the impression that you’re winning.

4. If you stare at someone’s lips during a conversation, they will think you like them and they will like you back.

5. If you whisper to someone, they will whisper back even if there was no reason to.

If you stare at someone’s hairline, it will make them uncomfortable. 

Also, did y’all know you can change someone’s memory? Basically the idea behind it is that we don’t actually remember things that happened; we only remember our memories of those things happening (I know, just think about it for a minute). Our memories change over time, so we can essentially trick people into thinking that things did or did not happen that aren’t true. And it actually works if you’re careful.

So... Gaslighting? I think it's pretty easy to gaslight someone who's not that bright

Kind of, but there is a difference. Gaslighting is just convincing someone they’re crazy or that something they think is wrong. I’m talking about actually altering their memory like an alien.

How does that work?

Well, since you only remember a memory, you can just convince someone that they remembered something else. You can skew perspectives and everything. A phycologist managed to convince a bunch of people involved in the same car accident of a seemingly important detail that wasn't ever involved: a broken headlight. She got them all (privately) to "remember" a broken headlight. There was never a broken headlight.
