Hey guys so today is something that is going to be really VERY  personal that  I kinda need advice and I have a question...do you think it is okay for someone at least 1 year younger then you to date? And to the girls who have asked out people before  what do I say because there is someone I want to ask out but i do not know how please please help i kinda need a lot of help.

Yeah, totally! My crush is a year younger than me.

It can kinda depend on your age too. I’m just saying that cause I’ve seen third graders that date. Your so young. And if you like a second or first grader at THIRD GRADE… you see what I mean? That is just my opinion. So let’s say your twelve and asking an 11 year old out. That seriously is not as bad as third graders. I personally will probably wait till I’m fourteen-ish even though I can’t date till I’m sixteen. But yeah, go on ahead! Good luck asking them out

If it's okay for boys to date people younger than them, why can't any other gender do that? It's okay, as long as you and this person are mature enough, that's fine. (And, as you get older, asking as you're not an adult with a kid, because that might not be good.)

I've never asked someone out. I've liked the same girl for over a year, though. My best friend, which makes it even harder if she says no (when I'm old enough, because I don't feel old enough or mature enough).

Also, Psychosloth has a fair point. Plenty of LGBTQIA+ people use this site. Also, Kay, using "lol" after something doesn't make it okay. That's like me saying "hah they deserved all the pain and suffering they got, lol". It doesn't make it okay to say.

I’m really sorry about what happened earlier. I thought that you were a boy bc you said that you liked a girl. Unless you are a girl and like other girls? Or are you part of the LGBTQA+ community? Anyway, I don’t know. But I am sorry. I’m also a person who get frustrated easily and am going through some stuff plus I started puberty not too long ago.
