I am confused?? You gave your dog away at a grocery store????? Who was the other person?? Could you not take care of the dog? Is that why you had to give it away? Dogs are only put down if they are in pain (because of old age, illness, or something else) and if they are in pain they are not given away. It would not make sense. The dog would be suffering and/or dying. Maybe they went with a vet to a different room? But, no, that does not happen. I am so confused. PLEASE clear things up?
