The new barbie (2010s) empowered girls to do anything, probably after the controversy of a barbie doll which is called teen talk barbie that said stuff like "math is for boys" or "being pretty is hard" it was so controversial that there is an episode of The Simpsons roasting that barbie

Umm I'm about the question but I know Barbie and ken are named after their kids.
