What was the dumbest reason to get in trouble/grounded

Question

I once got a parent phone call because I screamed "Leif Eriksson Came 1st" during recess

appearently some kid considered that to be a threat.

days until i get ungrounded : 4

Btw because I am grounded until Tuesday Im not gonna post Tomorrow or Sunday

I've never been grounded because I'm a good boy. 

Well, I'm not so good anymore. But back when my parents were more strict, I was really well behaved. Also, my parent's don't ground for dumb reasons like that, I'm sorry that happened to you!

for me something my brother (the fav child) would always do bad things and blame it on me (after she found out it had been him i was spoiled for a month)btw somehow he is still fav child

I got grounded once just for crying because someone hurt my feelings! Now how pointless is that?

As far as I know, my parents think that crying is absolutely ridiculous and anybody who does it is a crazy maniac loser who needs to get a life.

That’s an incredibly, ridiculously dumb reason to be grounded.

I’ve never gotten grounded before, and I’ve only gotten in trouble once when I was in 2nd grade (at school).

Basically, me and 4 other people were playing tag on the playground and not on the field. We got in trouble and we had to sit on a bench and do nothing for the rest of recess.

got grounded once for having insomnia (i couldn't sleep that night so I read a book to tire myself out and my dad got mad at me)

yeah so he took away all my books for like 4 weeks so I couldn't read and he called my school to tell them not to give me books or let me go to the library so that was fun :)
