A casual dress and a fancy dress are both distinct from each other. Casual dresses usually are just simple and are every-day dresses and fancy dresses are worn in special occasions, are very detailed, and are usually not comfortable. Casual dresses are very comfortable (in my point of view) and are seen almost every day. They're not so much detailed and are just simple with a little design or just a simple color. Fancy dresses, however, are usually worn on special occasions such as weddings, sweet sixteens, birthdays, etc. They are very detailed or very long. They can be uncomfortable or comfortable based on the way of the clothing. You usually don't see a fancy dress everyday on the way to school. So anyways, telling casual and fancy dresses apart is very easy because of their different personalities.
