Here's todays math problem of the day (I'm not doing a weird one today but I'll do a weird one tomorrow):

You buy your favorite band's new album. The receipt says that the total cost of the album is $11.65, including a 6% sales tax. What was the original price of the album without the tax?

$10.95.

I multiplied 11.65 by 0.06, then subtracted the product of that (0.699) from 11.65. I got 10.951, so I rounded down to $10.95.
