It is used to dehumanize trans people and non-binary people

I don’t understand why anyone would pick to have that as their pronouns.

To be honest, if someone tells me that’s their pronouns I probably would avoid using pronouns when around them  or use it(and cringe the whole time I’m using it) and just use they/Them when their not around
