What languages do you know/are you learning??

Question

I'm learning Spanish, Chinese, and French currently! I'm not fluent in any of them, but one day I hope I can be!

Here's how to say hello in each language I'm learning (I know how to say hello in more languages but these are the ones I focus on most!).

Spanish: hola (you've most likely heard this before. It's a very common Spanish greeting)

Chinese: 你好 (in pinyin it's nǐ hǎo, but in this case "ni" is a rising tone and "hao" is like a valley, going down and then up. 你好 literally means "you good.")

French: bonjour/bonsoir/salut (bonjour actually means good day, not hello, but it's used as a greeting at daytime! Bonsoir is kinda like the night equivalent of bonjour. And then salut just means hi!)

I know “bonjour” is a fancy way to say hi. In casual situations, I’m pretty sure people use “salut”.

Yup! "Salut" is more casual, kind of like how English speakers say "hi" or "hey"!

I remember in 4th grade, the entire grade had to research a country (we couldn’t choose). I was assigned Mexico and it turns out there was somebody in my class from Mexico so we worked together.

My teacher teaches us French throughout the day, it's required in her class. I knows few words, like Jes Suease Esy (sorry don't know how to write those words but they are pronounced Jus Sweese Easy).
