Question

Nordic immigrants Josef AnnaStina and Alma Annastina move to Empire Bay, United States in 1934.

They moved to Lost Heaven.

Josef and Alma move into an apartment. Shortly after, Alma gives birth to the baby she was pregnant with before they left Norway.

Josef struggles to find a job, and is one day jumped by members of the Morello Crime Family.

He is beaten, but the gangsters are stopped when a man named Tommy Angelo intervenes with a pistol, telling the gangsters to beat it.

Tommy helps Josef up and tells him about himself, then the crime families. He reveals he is a part of the Salieri Crime Family.

Tommy takes Josef back to the base, where he awaits to meet Don Salieri.

Cars, just you wait. This will be better than VMTE, just give it time.

also "Annastina" wouldnt be a real suername unless they have been army surnamed (basically if you were a Scandinavian-American Immigrant and you wanted to join the army, you can change your surname. It is your choise if you want it to  become permament

no offense to your knowledge, but a german citizen could still want to go to america right here right now (jesus jones), even when peak interest of immigrating there was during the holocaust (1933-1945), ww2 as a whole (1939-1945), and soviet occupation (1945-1989).

this story isn't even supposed to be realistic. It is literally set in a fictional area and city.
