Welcome today we have a special request from L to type about a Coati-Mundi which is a weasel that looks like a raccoon.
Awwww...... so cute!! Don't be fooled these animals are fierce fighters * Cat noise* they use their strong jaws, sharp canine teeth, and fast scratching paws to fight. Because they are so wild they are very hard to train for zoo's.
They communicate by chirping, snorting, or making grunting sounds. These noises express joy in social grooming, appeasement after fights, or to convey irritation or anger. However, these animals may be fierce but they have many predators. jaguarondis, boa constrictors, foxes, dogs, tayras, ocelots, jaguars, ornate hawk-eagles, black-and-chestnut eagles, harpy eagles, and White-headed capuchin monkeys hunt their pups. That sucks but read this. The Coatis face unregulated hunting with a serious threat of environmental destruction in Central and South America.
Well regardless of that these Coatis are Omnivores they eat bugs, such as tarantula, They also eat small prey, such as lizards, rodents, small birds, birds' eggs, and crocodile eggs. They have a snout, with an acute sense of smell, and paws that are hog-like and are used to unearth invertebrates ( beetles, ants, and centipede).
Thanks for the Request and thanks for reading
