Alright, I don't know how serious you are, but you should know that the best relationships happen when you and your partner love each other. Unconditionly.
That is a healthy relationship.
Don't go around not being your self, and worrying too much about how you look.
That is not to say that you shouldn't care at all of course.
And think of it like this, whether it's a just a friend, boyfriend, or whatever, if they don't think that you are good enough for them (based off of looks), then that means you are instantly better than them, because that means they are a not a good person for judging like that. Also remember that they don't know what they are missing if they would of became friends with you.
There is somebody for everybody. Just wait.
