I got braces!

Question

Ahhhhh! Save me, I just got braces 3 hours ago, and I look so ugly now, and it hurts, and it's super uncomfortable! I can't even chew properly. What should I do to make it feel a little bit better? btw, I got light blue bands for my braces. About how long will it hurt and be uncomfortable?

Braces usually make you not eat any crunchy food but only soft and fresh food.Make sure brush your teeth properly.

Heya Wraya! It's been a while!

Braces!? That is actually so cool! I need braces as well, and I should be getting them soon.

My friends and cousins had braces for the longest time. I'm sure the pain will stop soon (if it hasn't already- sorry, I'm a little late to the party XD), and you can always ask your parents for ibproufen (maybe tylenol, I don't remember) to help reduce the pain. I have also heard that when your braces get tightend, it will hurt- again.

BTW, you DO NOT look ugly. I just know it! And light blue? PRETTY!  Hope you are feeling better soon :D

I don't know much about braces....I know they hurt for a fee days,  but not from first hand experience. I know you can't eat certain things like g gum and popcorn. ,but I can tell you that you are not ugly. Remember what you said everyone iis beautiful in their own way and braces aren't going to change your way of being beautiful.

  Also braces are supposed to straighten your teeth so imagine the end result

Okay! Thank you! Well, for me they can. I look way more nerdy and geeky in a bad way. Also, since braces kind of stick out, my lips look a little more like they're out, if you know what I mean? It sticks out barely, but still, it makes me feel like a Simpsons character, although it doesn't really make me look like one much.
