I believe so because I don’t want to believe that after i die i just cease to exist

I want to believe that there is an actual reward for being good and i dont want to believe you can do whatever you want without any consequences when you die

I believe in God because of hope (primarily).

There is proof to back it up

Geology (erosion on earth heavily indicates a worldwide flood) is good proof.

More proof:

What looks to be parts of military wagons used by the pharaoh of Egypt (when the Israeli slaves of Egypt were chased by Egypt) have been found abundantly in the red sea (when god split it and then he closed the sea on the Egyptians in the temporary strait).

I will not force the Word of God down your throat, but I want you to consider it’s proof and the hope that comes along with believing it.

you do not go to heaven by being good, it is trough Jesus Christ that you are even granted entrance. Jesus said i am the way the truth and the life no one comes to the father (God) but trough me. you must first believe in Jesus and that he suffered and died at the hand of man for you, and you in return receive entry to heaven a place unimaginable.

I tend to say no, but do I really know? No, I don’t. And nobody really knows. There’s evidence for some things being not real, but at the same time, you can never fully prove anything. But if there is a higher being, a creator, someone who gave us life, theres a reason I sometimes wish upon a star. Believe. Thank whoever let me have a good thing happen. I don’t know if someones up there, and I don’t do religious stuff, but I like to believe sometimes. In a way, I believe in all gods. And in another, I believe in no gods. I hope that made sense.

i believe there is a God. im not like, 'there is the God who made the earth and all the living creatures and the planets and i should obey his every command!!!' all the time, i just belive there is a God. <3

Well all that is true. He made everything! When you die and go to heaven, (i hope) you will live eternally! Nobody has the power to create universes, so god could be the only one to do this! He made many miracles, and so did his son Jesus.

It's different than asking "Do you believe in God?" Because that's subjective. This question looks for facts. Christian/Jewish/Muslim people say one thing, and science says another. Every post that's asked this question has gotten the same mixed answers of yes and no.
