Todays math problem of the day is:

3x+8=20

Solve for x

I'm going to explain it.

First, you subtract eight from twenty to get twelve.

20 - 8 = 12

Like that,

and then you divide twelve by three.

12 / 3

You get four from that.

12 / 3 = 4

So that means that three times four plus eight equals twenty.

Twelve plus eight equals twenty.

(3 x 4) + 8 = 20.
