Why can’t KidzTalk and KidzNet be the same website?

What would a unified KidzTalk/KidzNet site look like? Currently, KidzNet is focused on articles that encourage participation. KidzTalk is more of a short Q&A forum.

KidzTalk would be moved to KidzNet, and KidzNet Forums would be replaced with KidzTalk.

The KidzNet forums are hardly used, so just linking to KidzTalk as a replacement is an interesting idea.

It would be complicated to merge KidzTalk into KidzNet, but it is possible. Thanks for the suggestion. KidzNet has a more advanced commenting system than KidzNet plus more social features, like friending, etc.

but each one is for different purposes. kidznet is more similar to a blog where kidztalk is like reddit.
