OK, YALL. I said i need help from a guy because guys understand guys better than girls do. I’m debating whether to tell my crush i like him or not. I REALLY LIKE HIM , but it’s a little weird cuz we’ve been good friends for 5 YEARS! It’s a crazy situation, im in 6th grade, and i dont wanna date him. I just want to be in a kind of situationship if u know what that is… (its kinda like a relationship but not really, just where you both know you like each other, you are kinda considered together, but not REALLY DATING.) SO GUYS, IM DEPENDING ON U TO TELL ME HOW TO TELL HIM. GUYS UNDERSTAND GUYS. GIRLS DONT. SO PLEASE HELP.

I wouldn't recommend telling him, because it could change your friendship. Also, suppose you guys start dating? If you broke up, you guys would be so different around one another.

But you can still do it.

I have been in a situationship. Flaming Pheonix knows about it. (I was not in a situationship with her) But I would think I would know just a little bit about this...

1. First you need to figure out if he likes you back or would want to end your friendship. You really need to think about this in a rational standpoint. You may like him but what does he think of you. 
2. Get back to me after you do step 1

i think it would be a good idea to tell him, you've been friends for a long time, if you tell him now, you could eventually date him, most likely.
