HELP MY SCHOOL SITUATION AINT SCHOOL SITUATIONING

Question

So, on Thursday last week, it was a pretty chill day cause the internet was down and half of the stuff we had to do was on computers. Then on Friday I had no school because parent teacher conferences. and we had off for President's Day, so essentially I had a four day weekend.

Then, today, I got an email saying that the internet was having so much issues that district-wide we are having off school so they can further investigate the internet issue. With their wording, my dad (who knows a ton about computers and is a tech whiz) explained that they most likely got HACKED-

SO WE HAVE OFF SCHOOL TOMORROW AND THE DAY AFTER, BUT IF THEY CANT GET IT FIXED WE ALSO HAVE OFF SCHOOL THIS THURSDAY AND FRIDAY

But they expect us to do “remote learning”

NO ABSOLUTELY NOT 

But in further research I found they mean

 WE HAVE A PACKET FOR SNOW DAYS WE’RE EXPECTED TO DO, AND ITS HUGEEEE

SO THESE NEXT TWO DAYS ARE GONNA BE FUN BUT NOT SO FUN

AND MY GRANDPARENTS HAVE BEEN VERY AGITATED THIS WEEK, SO WE HAVE TO BE AS GOOD AS POSSIBLE IN THESE TWO DAYS WERE STUCK WITH THEM

AAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH IM DYING

I get this whole week off cause  in nyc we get that week off (not sure why)

Yeah! I think it’s because in the 90s nyc had a huge snowstorm that week and nobody could go to school, so the DOE decided to give everyone a week off that week forever
