Why I’m Not Very Happy with Disney [poll]

Question

Disney really has been lacking in recent years when it comes to their content. 

The only movie recently that’s new by Disney is Wish, and I’ve not seen it, but it doesn’t seem to great. 

Pretty much everything else are sequels. And normally, I’d be excited! But the sequels are becoming less like sequels are more like… spinoffs?

I don’t like them at all.

Disney used to be magical and I loved them, but really they suck now. They don’t do anything well really anymore. And I don’t like any of the stuff. They are literally only existing now for money.

IT USED TO BE MAGIC AND NOW ITS MONEY GRABBING.

Anyways, what is your opinion?

I very strongly disagree. Sure i've seen wish and its definitely not that good. But there is no reason to hate Disney for making sequels to they're movies. You have no business acting like this it is so unfair to Disney. I am not trying to be rude but seriously I love Disney. They are NOT just doing it for the money they are making they're awesome movies for other peoples enjoyment. I am not trying to be rude and I am not trying to offend you, but seriously don't act like this. I personally like the sequels. And if you do not enjoy Disney's movies anymore than stop watching them. I know that you are just sharing your opinion, Buuuuuut I am not going to read your posts anymore if you keep acting like this.

THEY DON’T REALLY HAVE ANY ORIGINAL IDEAS ANYMORE

My issue with sequels is they are only building off of old ideas, and mostly for the money. They’ve given up on coming up with original ideas and are just handing us some overused junk.

I've felt the same way.

For me, I grew up with the OLD Disney movies (im talking 1930s - 1980s here) on VHS tapes. I literally loved them.

But now its all a money grab, essentially. Even popular movies like Encanto I felt lacked in any emotion (yes, I have watched it).

Don't even get me started about Wish. I watched half of it before giving up and turning it off. Its so emotionless, tasteless, and dull. It lacks in any emotion, and the storyline and characters feel rushed. New Disney sucks, end of story.

The Pixar movies are good as always, the main ones are horrible. I watched the new (lol) Haunted House movie with my mom in a movie theater at a mall and we walked out half an hour into the movie. I hated the movie.
